Noda Launches Noda Assistant and Command Center to Turn AI Insights Into Action for Building Teams

New platform capabilities help building engineering teams prioritize high-impact work, investigate issues faster, and convert identified energy and maintenance savings into realized results.

Noda, the agentic AI platform for commercial building operations, today announced the launch of the Noda Assistant and Command Center, two new capabilities designed to help building teams act faster and realize more savings from the opportunities Noda identifies across their portfolios.

Many solutions monitor building systems for equipment faults and operational drift, but detection and alerting are only half of the equation. To achieve savings, building teams must understand which alerts matter, pinpoint the root cause, determine the correct resolution, and complete the work. This is a labor-intensive and often manual process that requires time and experience. With Noda’s multi-agent workflows already autonomously running detection and root cause analysis to generate scoped projects, eliminating hours of up-front investigation and triage, the Command Center now makes those projects immediately actionable by placing them in a unified, prioritized view. The Noda Assistant works alongside it, using advanced reasoning and live operating context to respond to natural-language questions about buildings, equipment, and active issues.

“Finding operating waste isn’t the bottleneck anymore. Acting on it is,” said Kate Henningsen, CEO of Noda. “Building teams are responsible for more assets, more equipment, and more complexity, often with less resources. The Noda Assistant and Command Center give them a much faster path from ‘Noda found something’ to ‘we fixed it’ — without adding more dashboards, alarms, or administrative work for teams who already don’t have enough time in the day.”

Deep Intelligence Available On-Demand

The Noda Assistant brings natural-language interaction directly into the platform for the first time, allowing users to ask questions about buildings, equipment, insights, and operating history, and receive reasoned answers that leverage Noda’s agentic intelligence engine.

An engineer who receives a comfort complaint, for example, can now ask the Noda Assistant to review recent equipment performance for the affected zone. The Noda Assistant responds by using deep reasoning to analyze historical trends, operating characteristics, equipment relationships, and existing Noda insights. It generates a complete diagnosis with recommended resolution steps, including what to check first, and links the relevant data and charts so the engineer can trace the AI’s reasoning. The result is precise recommendations and faster diagnosis of issues, particularly valuable for teams responsible for large portfolios or engineers troubleshooting unfamiliar equipment.

“We designed the Noda Assistant to make it easier for building teams to figure out the important work that needs to get done, as though they could talk directly to their buildings,” said Andrew Blauvelt, Noda’s VP of Product and Commercial. “It’s built on the same intelligence layer that powers Noda’s AI agents, so it’s not generating static summaries or readouts of information. It’s reasoning across live trend data, equipment relationships, and project history every time it responds. The quality of the output is step-changes ahead of what traditional chatbots are capable of producing.”

Turning Identified Savings Into Completed Work

Command Center becomes the new homepage for work inside Noda, helping building teams quickly understand where to focus. At login, each engineer lands on a worklist of Noda projects automatically ranked by priority and estimated savings. Users can switch between an individual view and a team-wide view to understand both their own responsibilities and where work may be stalled. At-a-glance performance metrics, including realized savings, energy saved, emissions reduced, and projects completed, give teams an immediate view into results across individual buildings and the entire portfolio.

The objective is simple: increase the velocity of savings-generating work, without requiring additional staff or creating more admin tasks for building teams.

“A project that never gets executed creates no value,” Henningsen added. “Command Center connects the intelligence that Noda continuously generates to the day-to-day workflows of the people running buildings, so that the most important work is always front-and-center, along with the concrete actions needed to close it out.”

Together, Command Center and the Noda Assistant extend Noda’s agentic AI engine to help teams move savings projects through to completion. Rather than generating more alarms for engineers to parse, Noda autonomously handles the analysis and interpretation that once required intensive engineering judgment, and makes its findings accessible and actionable, giving users a faster path to executing value-generating work.

Noda will demonstrate Command Center and Noda Assistant in a live webinar on October 8 at 11 a.m. ET. Sign up here. Organizations can additionally request a live demo at noda.ai/request-demo.
