Noda Assistant
Built on the intelligence engine behind Noda's AI agents, the Noda Assistant uses advanced reasoning to respond to natural language questions about buildings, equipment, Insights and Projects, on demand at any time.
Ask about any piece of equipment in plain language. The Noda Assistant works out what is happening and why, then links to the supporting charts, Insights and Projects.
New engineering hires, third-party technicians, and staff without a controls background get expert answers about buildings, equipment, and Projects, without waiting on a senior engineer.
The water returning to CH-2 is barely warmer than the water it sends out, so the chiller and its pumps are moving more water than the building needs.
It costs energy more than comfort, so it can wait for a planned visit.
Engineers used to stitch together diagnoses by clicking through trend charts, equipment pages, and Insights, one view at a time. The Noda Assistant synthesizes the evidence and hands back a reasoned conclusion.
Built on the intelligence engine behind Noda's AI agents, the Noda Assistant reasons through a problem the way an experienced engineer would: it checks the connected equipment, weighs the evidence and names the most likely cause.
The Noda Assistant scans and cross-references operational data in moments. Engineers get answers without digging through trend logs or multiple screens.
The Noda Assistant knows how a building's equipment connects, from each air handler to the zones it serves, and reads the current value of each mapped point.
Each open Insight gives the Noda Assistant a fault description, a priority, an occurrence history and the linked points.
Answers draw on a building's Projects, the Tasks assigned under each one and the comments on those Tasks.
Ask for analysis and the Noda Assistant reads a point's trend history and explains the pattern in plain language.
Operating schedules let the Noda Assistant compare a unit's actual runtime with its scheduled hours.
The Noda Assistant reads the building's historical weather and utility rates alongside its trend data.
Not in its current release. The Noda Assistant answers questions and links to the evidence. A person still closes Projects, reassigns Tasks, adjusts setpoints and edits records.
The Noda Assistant opens from any page of a building in Noda, as a panel beside the page, and answers about one building at a time. It is not available from the portfolio dashboard.
Each question runs with the permissions of the person asking. The Noda Assistant reads only data that person can already see in Noda.
Each answer links to the supporting charts, Insights and Projects. Ask the Noda Assistant to chart a point and it returns a link to the chart; ask it to analyze a point and it reads and interprets the history.
Not at present. The Noda Assistant works from historical data, one building at a time. Command Center covers priorities and performance across a portfolio.
